Willard V. Harris
Bill has been one of the original members of the Brethren Manor Corporation since its inception in 1965. He has served on its Board of Directors for over 35 years including as Chairman of the Board from 1993 to 2013.
Organizations he supports include: Whittier College where he was a member of the Board of Trustees for over 30 years, including Vice Chairman of the Board and is now emeritus; University of La Verne; Prentice School, a non-profit independent school and; Freedom 4U an organization redirecting youth to healthy lifestyles. He supports the Boys and Girls Clubs, including the founding of the Harris Literacy Center in Portland, Oregon. He continues to support Global Partners for Development, Foundation for African Medicine and Education, “FAME”, as well as many other cultural and non-profit organizations.
Bill is currently president of Harris-Taylor Management, Inc. in Santa Ana, California and is involved in philanthropic endeavors through the Harris-Taylor Family Foundation. He has worked over 60 years in building, construction and manufacturing.
He resides with his wife Harriet in Newport Beach, California and enjoys his 7 children, over 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
