Harriet Harris

Harriet has been involved in philanthropic organizations for over 40 years. She has served on the Board of Prentice School for over 25 years and is now emeritus. She served on the Board of Freedom 4U, an organization redirecting youth to healthy lifestyles, and has been a board member of the Bowers Museum, serving as president for several years. She supports the Boys & Girls Clubs, including co-founding the Harris Literacy Center in Portland, Oregon. She continues to support Global Partners for Development, Foundation for African Medicine and Education, “FAME”, as well as numerous other cultural and non-profit organizations.

Harriet has served on the Brethren Corporation for over 20 years. She is currently vice president and secretary of Harris-Taylor Management, Inc. in Santa Ana, California and is involved in philanthropic endeavors through the Harris-Taylor Family Foundation. She has over 50 years in the building industry.

She resides with her husband Willard “Bill” Harris in Newport Beach, California and enjoys 7 children, over 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
